To the end and back again

It all started with a swipe and a bit of a mystery. When Joey first came across Abby’s profile, he noticed something unique: her photos were carefully curated to keep her face a secret. Intrigued by her wit and the personality that shone through her captions, Joey decided to take a chance on the girl behind the obscured photos. After a few weeks of effortless conversation, they decided it was time to meet in the real world. The First Date: Original Joe’s They chose a classic spot for their first encounter—Original Joe’s in Daly City. As Joey waited, Abby finally walked through the doors, mystery solved and replaced by an instant connection. Over plates of Joe's famous sourdough and hearty Italian fare, the digital spark turned into a real-world flame. What was supposed to be a simple dinner turned into hours of laughter and the realization that they had found something truly special. Building a Life Together The next year was a whirlwind of adventures, from exploring the city, to seeing Coldplay perform live in Levi's Stadium, playing mini golf in Santa Cruz, and everything else in between. About a year after that first dinner in Daly City, life together made sense, and they decided to take the leap and move in together. Turning a house into a home was just the beginning. Since then, Joey and Abby have grown together in more ways than they ever imagined. They’ve supported each other through career shifts, celebrated personal milestones, and built a foundation of trust and partnership that grows stronger every day. Joey even helps with the Christmas decorations (still mostly Abby's doing). Their wedding is only the next step in a long, beautiful journey together.
