We met in Boston right after college and spent a summer falling in love while wandering the city together—slowly realizing we’d found something we didn’t want to end. What followed was nearly two years of long distance between San Diego and Boston, filled with flights, FaceTimes, and counting down the days until we’d be together again. Eventually, we made it official with a shared apartment on Beacon Street, and since then, it’s felt impossible to imagine how we ever spent so much time apart.
