Things To Do

DC is filled with so many fun things to do, here are a few of our favorite places to visit together, from going to museums and monuments to walking through nature and historic neighborhoods.

Dupont Circle Farmers' Market

1600 20th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20009

Open every Sunday from 8:00-1:30, this is one of our favorite weekly traditions. On an average week, you can find Jacob gobbling up all the apple samples and Abby frequenting the cheese booths. Afterward, you can visit our other neighborhood favorites including the Dupont Coffee Collective and Kramer's.

Georgetown Waterfront Park

3303 Water Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20007

One of our favorite places to go for a stroll, located right next to historic M Street which has some of the best shopping in the District.

Rock Creek Park

Washington, DC

In case you want to get away from the city without actually leaving the District, you can visit Rock Creek park which boasts miles of walking trails.

Smithsonian National Zoological Park

3001 Connecticut Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20008

Another one of our favorite places where you can see our 2 new pandas, Bao Li and Qing Bao!

Tidal Basin

Washington, DC

Home to the Jefferson memorial, the FDR memorial, and the MLK memorial. But most importantly, where we took our engagement photos during the cherry blossom peak bloom.

Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum

1661 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20006

Abby's favorite Smithsonian museum

National Museum of the American Indian

4th Street Southwest, Washington, DC 20560

One of Jacob's favorite Smithsonian museums
