Accommodations - Wedding Day Transportation Location

Wedding Day Transportation will be from: Piazza Savonarola Should you choose to stay in Florence, we recommend staying near this location to assist with pick up/drop off on the wedding day. However, Florence is an incredible quaint and walkable city. So no matter where you stay, you should be able to access this spot quite easily!

Travel Note

Recommended Hotels & Air Bnbs

This spreadsheet contains list(s) of Hotels & Airbnbs within the surrounding area of the pick up/drop off location for wedding transportation. Due to the many boutique hotels that make Florence special, we will not be setting up Hotel Room Blocks. We'd like our guests to feel empowered to stay where they see most fit. Air Bnb is a great source when traveling abroad, offering more space & flexibility. If you have any questions because you haven't used it before, please ask us anything!

Flights

Typically around 6 months in advanced is a great time to book a flight! 'Skyscanner' is a search engine that pulls all possible flight options within a provided time frame/travel day(s). We frequently use this to help us book flights and compare airlines, while also monitoring prices! You can fly into Florence. However, when we visited Florence, we flew to Rome (much cheaper). Then, took a train to Florence. You can also fly to Milan or other larger Italian cities. Click 'View' for direct access to the site.

Train

Trains

Getting around Italy is made easy by train! If you are going to spend some time in other cities, Florence is just a train ride away. 'Rail Ninja' is the site we've used to book train rides in Europe. Click 'View' for direct access to the site.

Passports

Make sure your passport is not expired! Typical turn around time for new passports is about 12 weeks, unless expedited. Also, if your passport expires 6 months from your travel date, in some countries it's already considered expired. Better safe than sorry! Click “view” for access to the gov site on passport rules/processes.
