A vast 276-acre preserve with trails through wildflower meadows, wetlands, tidal ponds and woodland. Includes a sandy beach, picnic areas, lovely spots for relaxing and taking in views of the Chesapeake Bay. Also where we had our engagement photos taken!
Matapeake Park
Former ferry landing turned into a public beach & clubhouse. Has trails, a fishing pier, picnic spots, and great views of the Bay Bridge.
