There are many waterfall and rock features to explore via easy to moderately difficult hiking trails. Old mans cave trail, cedar falls trail, and ash cave are near-by, must-see features and are focal points of the Hocking Hills! Some trails such as Ash Cave are short, accessible, and can be done in tennis shoes on a dry day. Others require proper footwear and a steady step. If it's icy, plan to bring spikes to fit over your shoes! Stop by the visitor's center or any other park office to ask about hiking recommendations, difficulty level, and current conditions on the trails.
