DeSean’s older sister and fast best friend of Abby’s. She came to meet Abby and celebrate on Abby’s 21st birthday in Nashville and she and Abby have been partners in crime ever since. She and Abby are way too much alike and have also become travel buddies having visited 4 countries together and 3 more trips abroad booked already!
Deswyn Prentice
Best Man
Deswyn is DeSean’s oldest sibling. Growing up DeSean and Des were really close, but it wasn’t until the summer of 2015 when they realized living in the same city was not conducive to either of their productivity. (Still goes down as the best summer to date)
Tricia Joll
Maid of Honor
Track & Field manager turned best friend. Tricia and Abby met in 2014 and quickly became close friends. The two have spent way too much money at Dunkin’, TJ Max, The Copper, The Verve, and Chavas—but could almost always be found together while they lived in Terre Haute. Tricia also helped raise DeSean and Abby’s dog—and Nala loves her Aunt Trishy.
Denzyl Prentice

Denzyl is DeSean’s youngest sibling. Growing up DeSean and Denz argued the most, but got close when the rest of the siblings went off to college and left them back at home. Though Denz will never text you back he will always be there for DeSean when needed.
Caitlyn Mikell

Cait is a former track teammate, but thanks to DeSean and Devyn being friends and business partners, Cait and Abby got to spend a lot of time together and became roommates (for 2 years) and best friends. The two couples living together during a pandemic lockdown was the true test of friendship, but they would not have had it any other way.
Devyn Mikell

Devyn is one of DeSean’s first business partners. While they technically met on the track at Indiana State University, Devyn and DeSean became best friends when they started Terre Hautes first ever food truck, Twisted Fry. They then went on to start another company that they currently work at called Qualifi.
Rico Zounlome

Rico is DeSean’s acquired sibling. When Rico started living at the Prentice household DeSean and Rico were inseparable. Most of their time was spent learning new things…mainly Rico learning new things and DeSean following right behind. (Piano and coding to name a few). Fun fact: Rico and DeSean watched the movie Hitch every night for a few years in a row.
Dakota French

Dakota and Abby have been best friends for 21 years! They met in kindergarten at Covington Elementary School in 2000. They were absolutely inseparable throughout their years at Covington. They were soccer managers, cheerleaders, on the dance team, and President (Dakota) and Vice President (Abby) of their class for most of their high school years.
Satchel Carnine

Satchel is DeSean’s acquired sibling. Satchel and DeSean are the most reserved of the Prentice/Carnine children. However, whenever Satch does speak be prepared to be rolling on the floor. DeSean has enjoyed watching Satch grow into the man he is today.
Hayden Carnine

Hayden is DeSean’s acquired sibling. Hayden has brought laughter to the family since he was a child and has no signs of slowing down. DeSean has enjoyed getting closer to Hayden over the past year through the late night older brother talks.
Mallory McBride

Mallory and Abby’s brother Ryan started dating in 2009 and she has been a part of the family ever since! Being a year older than Abby, Mallory has been there to give advice through every milestone for Abby. She and Ryan have given Abby & DeSean the gifts of the best niece and nephew, Eleanor & Oliver.

Ryan is Abby’s older brother. Ryan and DeSean met through track meets that Abby and DeSean were both a part of. Ryan quickly welcomed DeSean into the family and always treated him like one of his siblings.
Haley Atwell

Haley and Abby became good friends in grad school at Indiana State, but only after Abby signed up for a group project with her so that they could be friends. They are part of the reason that the other made it through grad school at all—spending countless all-nighters finishing papers and projects that they should have started much earlier.
Caroline Brannon

To know Caroline, is to love Caroline. Abby has known and loved Caroline since DeSean’s brother Des moved to Nashville in 2015. She is one of the funniest people you will ever meet and she also is not allowed to say no to an international trip ever again.

Although Kelsey and Abby have only known each other for two years, it was one of those scenarios where you ask “can we be best friends?” ..but we actually meant it. Here’s to double dating forever and never letting Abby order for herself. Also, by the time the wedding comes around, Abby & Kelsey (and the guys) will basically be neighbors (by 11 minutes)!
James Vaughn

DeSean and James briefly met in Indy when DeSean lived with his brother. They became best friends when they ran over a mile from the club to the apartment during James’ bachelor party. James, Kelsey, Abby, and DeSean often enjoy weekly catch ups over dinners at different restaurants around Indy.
Brady Collins

DeSean and Brady met on one of their first days at Indiana State and have been best friends ever since. They became roommates in 2012 and went on as roommates for the next 6 years.

Jaime McGregor has been a terror ever since he got here from Ireland! Jaime and DeSean were close friend when he joined the high jump squad his freshman year, but they became best friends when they became roommates two years later.
Jess Harris

Jess is also one of DeSean’s first business partners. DeSean and Jess met on one of their first days at Indiana State and have been close friends ever since. It was when they took a 38 hour non-stop road trip to Georgia and back where they became best friends.

Twisted Fry blessed DeSean with a few close friends, one being Chris. Chris went through the up and downs with DeSean and Twisted Fry. DeSean and Chris became really close friends when Chris stayed the night in the living room every weekend for a year to run Twisted Fry.
