Things To Do

Downtown

Downtown

St. Petersburg, FL

We love where we live and hope you’ll love it too! St. Pete is packed full of amazing restaurants and sights, we encourage you to explore. Eat lunch at Red Mesa Cantina or enjoy one of the famous cheese plates at Annata. Grab a pint at one of our award-winning breweries, like Cycle and Green Bench. Take a stroll in one of our waterside parks, such as North Straub or Vinoy. Walk Central Ave for local shopping, coffee houses, and art galleries. Check out the brand new Pier, the icon of the Sunshine City and a part of our ceremony background.

Historic Ybor City

Historic Ybor City

7th Ave, Tampa, FL

A twenty minute trip across the bridge, Ybor City is where Michael and I met. One of the most historic streets in the country, 7th Ave is full of restaurants, bars and cigar shops. At one point, Ybor was the largest producer of cigars in the world. Manufacturers populated the town with a flood of immigrants in the late 1880s, and that melting pot of cultures eventually led to the creation of our most famous sandwich, The Cuban. La Segunda Central Bakery has been making these sandwiches for over 100 years, it can’t get anymore authentic than that, however The Columbia, Florida’s oldest continuously operating restaurant, isn’t a bad place to snag one either. Also don’t pester the Ybor chickens, they are protected under local ordinances and are part of what makes Ybor, Ybor!

Treasure Island

Mazzarro’s Italian Market is quite a unique experience and if you have the time to pop in while you’re in St. Pete, you will not regret it. Packed full of homemade, in-house cheeses, meats, pastas, pizzas and all things in between, it’s the perfect place to grab a sandwich, buy something to cook for dinner or some local items to take home! Don’t miss their wine room where Rob, George, or Ben will help you with whatever you are looking for.

John’s Pass

John’s Pass

12901 Village Blvd, Madeira Beach, FL 33708

Created by a hurricane 1848 and used by pirates to sail into Boca Ceiga Bay, John’s Pass is a restored fishing village full of old fashioned Florida tourism. Tons of restaurants, cute little shops, and the perfect place to rent a jet ski or parasail. You can also rent a 90-minute session on a floating tiki bar, putter around the bay with a piña colada, and watch the dolphins. The Hut and Sculley’s serve some great coastal favorites and usually have live music, and waterside dining options but if you’re looking for something special Boardwalk Grill makes the best lobster rolls and fat onion rings!
