Transportation will be provided for guests to and from our wedding. Ubers are limited in the area so we recommend you utilize our shuttles! Shuttles will depart at 4:30pm. Please do not miss the bus! We have three pickup locations: -University Baptist Church at 1223 W. Main Street (for our Draftsman & Marriott guests. Please note the busses will not stop at these individual hotels!) -Fairfield Inn -Boars Head Resort (*bus departs at 4:40) Shuttles departing the ceremony will leave at both 10:00pm and 11:30pm - you may get on either! The late bus will make a stop on the corner for those attending the after party. There is free parking available at the venue if you wish to drive. The Colonnade Club is a historic venue at the University, located in Pavilion VII on "The Lawn." The easiest way to get there is to walk to the Rotunda via University Ave. You'll find The Lawn on the opposite side of the Rotunda. If you come from this direction, Pavilion VII is halfway down the right side (there will be a sign, too!). If you prefer to Uber, we recommend you enter either the Rotunda or Garrett Hall as your drop off destination. The latter will drop you just outside the south side of The Lawn - once you walk onto The Lawn (looks like a big courtyard), the entrance will be halfway up on the left side. There is parking at the ceremony if you prefer to drive, though we will have free shuttles!
As much as we'd love to expand the party, we unfortunately do not have space for everyone. We regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!
We kindly ask that you leave your little ones at home on Friday & Saturday. If you'd like a recommendation for a sitter in Charlottesville, please let us know!
For Saturday we recommend suits & ties for men, semiformal dresses for women. Portions of our evening will be outside, so please dress accordingly - and we suggest block heels for the grass! Our Welcome Party on Friday will be dressy casual. We'll be outside there, too, so please check the forecast!
