Curtis Orchard & Pumpkin Patch
A fall favorite of ours! It's one of those places that if you grew up in Champaign-Urbana, you've probably spent some time at Curtis Orchard. :) We'd recommend their yummy apple cider and donuts!
Caffe Paradiso
One of our favorite spots to grab a cuppa coffee and sit and chat. :)
Mad Goat Coffee
This coffee spot arrived on the scene a little more recently and has been a new favorite spot for us!
Art Mart
We enjoy going to Art Mart for a coffee and a pastry or sandwich. We've also brought Skyjo to play a couple rounds before. :) This shop also has a fun store with everything from toys and stationary to cookware and clothes! So it's a fun spot to browse too!
Hopscotch Bakery + Market
Abbie's favorite cinnamon rolls, which if you know Abbie, is a big deal.
Allerton Park
We've been going to Allerton Park since we were teenagers. :) Beautiful grounds and gardens for walks, a mansion to admire, nowadays they also have a cafe that might be open when you visit!
The Courier Cafe
A local favorite that we've been going to for over a decade! Abbie's go to is the BBQ pulled pork quesadilla while Spencer likes the Skinny Dipper Potato appetizer
Busey Woods
Busey Woods has a really nice boardwalk loop through the woods, or a more meandering dirt path system, both of which are fun to explore! When Abbie and Spencer go to Busey Woods, they can be found walking around on fallen logs practicing their balance skills. :)
Huaraches Moroleon
In 2024, when I arrived home for the summer (before we started dating again) Huaraches Moroleon was where we first got together for a lunch on June 13th when I'd been home for a few days. :)
Watson's Shack & Rail
After a yummy Sunday lunch and sparkling conversation at Watson's Shack and Rail on July 14th 2024, we decided to start dating again last summer!
