Cypress Creek Nature Preserve is a beautiful natural area and trail system located immediately east of Wimberley square. It features several miles of hiking trails and a variety of outdoor activities including fishing, birdwatching, and picnicking.
The park is home to a large spring-fed swimming hole surrounded by limestone cliffs and is a great place to cool off with its shady grass on a hot day. There are also hiking trails and picnic areas at the park. Note: check the link below before you go - you may need to get a day pass if you plan to swim, but pretty sure that starts in May. You don't need a day pass to hike, etc.
The EmilyAnn boasts numerous and diverse walking and nature paths that wind through the main eight acres for visitors to discover, enjoy and explore. There are activities, look outs, gardens, and sculptures along many of the paths.
Wedding venue - just putting this here for reference :)
