Matron of Honor
Megan has been my best friend and role model since birth. I’ve always admired her for how thoughtful and genuine she is in all relationships she has. She has always encouraged and supported me and has been a huge advocate for our relationship. I look to Megan’s marriage as an example of the love and commitment that I want with Tania. I couldn’t imagine getting married without her by my side.
Maid of Honor
I met Vanessa when I was in 6th grade. We instantly became friends, and although we were separated by distance for a while, in high school we rekindled our friendship and have been inseparable ever since. I enjoy Vanessa’s humor and free-spirited attitude that she always carries, even on her bad days. I admire her as a mother and her loyalty to our friendship runs deep. I’m so happy to call her my maid of honor.
Maid of Honor
Tenia has been my best friend for as long as I can remember. All of my best memories from growing up involve Tenia and she truly is my partner in crime. Tenia is one of the most resilient women I know, and we connect on such a deep level. Tenia has the best laugh and is always down to have a good time. I know no matter where life takes us, we will always be family and we will forever lose track of time while gossiping or rehashing the drunken events from the night before on FaceTime.
Bridesmaid
Oh, Kenya. We became in friends in high school after she called me her wife to avoid a conflict with a classmate. From the point on we were best friends aka wives. It’s never a dull moment with Kenya, and growing up we were always up to no good. Our friendship grew quickly into Kenya becoming part of my family. I appreciate Kenya’s non-judgmental attitude and her ability to overcome anything that’s thrown at her. She’s my true soul sista.
Bridesmaid
Janay and I became friends in middle school and over the years she has become one of my dearest friends. Janay has always been the person I call when I feel like I’m being a little crazy and she always reminds me I am, but it’s okay because we both are. She is 100% my drinking buddy for life and our margarita dates to Carlos with Tina are by far my favorite moments. She has always been the motherly one of the group, and has kept us out of a lot of questionable shenanigans.
Bridesmaid
I met Marina in middle school, but we became really close in high school. I always remember all of the times we skipped school together and the crazy parties we always ended up at. She’s always been extremely transparent with me, and that’s one of the things I value most about our friendship. She’s always been very caring towards me, and has pushed me to be the best version of myself. My B for life!
Bridesmaid
Taylor and I met in middle school, but then really got close in high school when Taylor moved back to Lincoln. Taylor has always been a sister to me and although Taylor lives in Texas, we are still as close as ever. Taylor has always given me a different perspective and challenges me to look within myself and realize who I truly am. Taylor is such a strong, independent woman and when times are tough, she is always there to listen and guide me. I know no matter the distance, our friendship will continue to grow.
Bridesmaid
Luz is my youngest sister. Even though we are so many years apart, I’ve grown to be very close to her. She has always been as spontaneous as me, and is willing to do anything new. I love the way that she sees life and her motivation to accomplish her goals. She also has a tendency to think she is really funny, jokes on her-she’s not. But, in all seriousness, I know that Luz will always be a support in my life and will always push me past my limits.
Bridesmaid
Shae and I met while working together at CenterPointe. She became that co-worker that you were so pumped to work with because you knew it was going to be a fun shift. Shae quickly changed from a co-worker to one of my closest friends. She is so kind and genuine and has been a huge support to me. She is always there for me whether it’s to talk, go have a drink, or tear it up at the duck races. I’m so grateful to have her in my life and we have some of the best double dates. Her positive energy and spunky attitude is exactly what I need by my side on my big day.
Bridesmaid
Maria is my younger sister and she has always been my right-hand. Growing up, Maria was always with me and our relationship was always easy. I admire how resilient she is and how great of a job she is doing as a mother. I have always appreciated her honesty in times where I need it the most. I’ve learned so much from her and she continues to impress me daily. Even though she is so far away our relationship stands just as strong, and always will. I’m so grateful to have her home on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Taylor and I became friends back at Campbell Elementary. My most fond memory of us back in the day was us riding our bikes to the school bike rodeo and trying to win awards with our stellar bike riding skills. Taylor was a the first one of us to get her own apartment and we spent countless nights having sleepovers and game nights that lasted way too late. Taylor is always just a phone call away and is always down to do anything and everything. I appreciate the longevity of our friendship and the support she has always given me.
