Maid of Honor
Sanjna and Abbey first became friends in 7th grade, tackling Latin homework and middle school drama together. When Sanjna moved to Oregon freshman year, Chloe and Abbey stayed in touch and took turns with Sanjna visiting each other. 12 years later, they are still long distance best friends, tackling corporate jobs and real world drama. Abbey wouldn't be the person she is today without the support and friendship of such a smart, independent, and caring friend like Sanjna.
Maid of Honor
Why have one maid of honor when you can have 2?! Chloe and Abbey have also been friends since middle school, eating donuts, stealing traffic cones, and crying in public restrooms together through high school. While they ended up going to rival universities, their friendship somehow managed to stay intact. To this day, Chloe is one of the most positive, authentic, and kindhearted people Abbey has ever met. She couldn't imagine her wedding day without Chloe.
Bridesmaid
The first time Abbey met Rachel was in Abbey's freshman year of college and Rachel's freshman year of high school. Both growing up with 3 older brothers, the best way they knew how to bond was through a little light-hearted bullying. Thankfully they've learned additional ways to bond since then. Abbey can't wait to have a sister (or 2 @Mary Kate)! (The real reason Abbey is marrying into the family).
Bridesmaid
While studying Biomedical Engineering at ASU, Abbey learned the importance of being able to work in a group. When she first joined a group project with Nandini, Claudia, and Tyler, she didn't expect to spend the next 3 years with them, let alone find 3 of her favorite people. Abbey decided the 12 hour days, 5 days a week studying with them wasn't enough time with Nandini, so she also joined the same kick boxing class and internship program as her. Nandini brings as much passion and energy towards being a great friend as she does towards becoming a doctor, and Abbey would never had made it through college without her.
Bridesmaid
ASU's commitment to have their students learn to work in a group included paying for them to take a personality test. This was where Claudia and Abbey learned they are almost exactly the same personality type, which may be why they get along so well! Claudia is always up for a drink or a competitive game night, and Abbey is so grateful to have a more level-headed, driven, and thoughtful friend like her.
Bridesman
When exactly Tyler and Abbey met depends on who you ask. If you ask Abbey, they met at an engineering camp before the start of freshman year (see above photo for proof). If you ask Tyler, they met sometime early sophomore year (which, in his defense, is when they actually became friends). Regardless, they have been bullying each other ever since. Tyler is the fourth brother that Abbey never asked for and she loves that she can always rely on him for support or a good laugh! *A note from Ryley on Tyler: "The workhorse of the BME group. It's a good thing the girls had such a smart, capable man to help carry them through their undergraduate coursework."
Best Man
Gary was Ryley's roommate during both his Freshman and Senior years at ASU. They quickly bonded over sports, booze, smoothies, and a tapestry that really tied the room together. Besides Abbey, Gary was always Ryley's first choice to hit up for travelling during breaks or going to bars. He's a pretty swell guy for being a Disney Adult.
Groomsman
Maseo and Ryley were roommates for all but 1 of their semesters at ASU. During that time together, they tackled engineering coursework, countless bars, a few intramural sports, a dodgeball class, and a couple of run-ins with (and run-froms) the authorities. Maseo has been and continues to be one of Ryley's best friends.
Groomsman
Josh has been one of Ryley's best friends at ASU since their Freshman year. Though never roommates, Josh and Ryley were neighbors in three different apartments and hung out almost every day. They are an unstoppable pair in beer die and will beat anyone who challenges them. Of all Ryley's friends, Josh has always been his favorite to talk (sometimes debate) with about all things social and political.
Groomsman
Lefty is the Ryley's third brother, not by blood but by choice. He and Ryley were best friends throughout middle and high school, where they tackled all of the usual problems for that age: girls, growing up, and getting on coaches' nerves. When Ryley left Ohio for college, Lefty was always the first person he would hit up whenever he came back. Along with GPL and KC, they would bowl and golf until they could do no more.
Groomsman
Ryley's older brother. Throughout their childhood, Ryan was an inspiration and a teacher for Ryley (whether he meant to be or not). Anything Ryan found cool, Ryley was quick to find interesting as well. From video games to TV shows to books and even friend groups, Ryan was surely annoyed at the shadow he had in a little brother. Eventually, it was Ryan's love for all things space and science that set Ryley down his academic and future career paths. Now as adults, Ryan and Ryley enjoy a drink and a smoke when they get together and have plenty to talk about since they grew up enjoying so many of the same things.
Groomsman
Ryley's younger brother. As the older brother, Ryley hopes Reese learned as much from him as he did from Reese. Reese's ability to casually get along with anyone he meets and the way he can put his whole heart into whatever he does are things that Ryley still tries to emulate. Where Ryley grew by competing with Ryan, he grew by teaming up with Reese (often to best Ryan in a 2v1). They have combined their forces to win at sports, video games (shoutout Borderlands), and drinking games. Ryley could ask for no one better to stand behind him at his wedding. Side note: One time a high school friend said Reese was the hotter Miller, so Ryley has been careful to keep distance between him and Abbey.
Bride (Or so she thinks)
