Abbey and Ryley met in their dorm during Freshman year at Arizona State. Ryley lived in the infamous Cereus Fourth Floor, Suite 404/6, and Abbey was the Girl Next Door who he couldn't stay away from.

On a vacation to Barcelona, Ryley popped the question on the balcony of their historic hotel in front of a beautiful stone fountain. Even after dating for 6 years, he was still so nervous that he opened the ring box upside down.
