What’s the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail wedding attire. Suits, sport coats, and dresses are perfect. No need for black tie, just come dressed up and ready to celebrate with us. All venues are indoors and air conditioned.

What should I know about a Catholic ceremony?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and Catholic Mass are expected to take about an hour. Your presence means a lot to us. If you are not Catholic or do not wish to receive communion, you can come up for a blessing or remain seated during communion.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Your children will be welcome to attend the Mass, but the cocktail hour and reception are only for those on the invitation.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We definitely recommend the MeadowView Marriott in Kingsport since that’s where the reception is. You’ll be able to celebrate and then just take the elevator home at night. We have room blocks for discounted rates. If you’d rather stay elsewhere, there are other good hotel or AirBnB options nearby.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will only be provided for the bridal party between the ceremony, photos, and reception. Guests can park for free at both St. Dominic’s Catholic Church and MeadowView Marriott.
