It was at the brunch table before a craft beer festival when Abbey first said to Emil, “the Vikings have lost what, 5 Super Bowls now?” and he corrected her to say, “no, it’s only been 4.” They exchanged numbers to continue trash talking football that season, and a month later, he asked her to go to lunch and watch the beginning of the Packers game. Well, the Packers lost to the Commanders that day, but Abbey and Emil came out with a win. A few craft beers and pepperoni rolls later, as well as debates on who serves the best sweet potato fries, the two of them realized they were made for each other. They continued going on various dates and spent a lot of time together. Fast forward through countless football games, concerts, ski trips, travels, and craft beers, and we’ve decided that it’s time to become official life partners. We are really excited to celebrate our love with the people we love most. See you in June!
