Rough Ridge trail is an App State student's right of passage. We hiked the trail on one of our first dates and continued to do so at least once a year.

We went to Booneshine for Abbey's 21st birthday to enjoy ciders and sour beers. Later, we both joined the Booneshine Adult Soccer League with our team, Table City! (2023 Bronze League Champions).
Appalachian Ski Mtn.
The closest ski/snowboard park. We took snowboarding as a PE class here together before graduating.
