While many people dislike Boone and surrounding areas for their winters, it is one reason we both loved it so much. The weather is unpredictable (heck, we had snow in May before) but we will watch it closely as we approach our wedding date! Anyways, isn't rain (or snow) on your wedding day good luck? Roads surrounding the venue are state-maintained and will be cleared quickly in the chance of snow.
We plan to hold our ceremony outdoors with the Blue Ridge Parkway as our backdrop. The ceremony will be short & sweet and once concluded, dinner and dancing will be held indoors. Please check the weather as the date approaches, but plan on bringing a winter jacket!
