We both love studying theology, and had previously completed the Masters in Theological Studies at ACTS Theological School. ACTS was hosting their annual gala, and thank God we each decided to go last minute! We were seated at the same table- the only single people at a table full of couples. As we introduced ourselves to each other, we got lost in conversation about the study abroad trips we did with ACTS, our experiences at local Bible studies, and our love of museums. We were drawn to each other as the conversation progressed, in a way that words cannot describe. At the end of the evening, it only seemed natural that Abanoub would ask Amanda for her number... but all he said was "hope to see you at Bible study sometime!" However, we all know the story didn't end there; God had a plan for their paths to cross once again. Rest assured, he now definitely has her number!
