If you have any sliver of doubt in your heart or mind that two women should be married, please do not come to our wedding. Our union is not only a joyful celebration of our love, but also an important act of resistance. We respectfully ask that you decline this invitation if you do not whole-heartedly support our community.
We really really love your kids! But because Alissa has 1 million family members and our venue doesn't have capacity for any more humans (even if they're small), we will be keeping the wedding ceremony and reception adults-only, with the exception of those in the wedding party and nursing infants. Kids and pups are more than welcome at our welcome and farewell events. If you plan to travel from out of town with your younglings, we recommend checking out Chicago Supersitters or SitterCity for a wedding night sitter.
Due to limited space at our venue, we are only able to welcome those mentioned on your invitation. If you did receive a plus-one, their name will appear next to yours when you RSVP! Please reach out to the brides-to-be with any lingering questions.
We recommend out-of-town guests fly into O'Hare (ORD) or Midway (MDW). Both airports have public transportation (CTA) options that will take you all around the city. Additionally, we recommend using ride share services like Lyft or Uber.
Check out our "Travel + Lodging" page for hotel block information and accommodation recommendations. If you plan to find accommodations other than the hotel block, some neighborhoods we recommend for ease of travel to the wedding venue are: Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Northalsted (Boystown), River North, the Loop, Lincoln Square, and Ravenswood.
