Molly & Aarshika met in the fall of 2012 at George Mason University, when they were assigned as random roommates in a forced triple (Harrison 3rd forever)!!! They quickly bonded and became besties, jamming to Taylor Swift, frequent starbs and Wendy's trips, late night at Ikes and Pilot House (hello Mozzy Moons), shopping, fraternities texting Molly to tell Aarshika to take a post down because she was sound asleep and not replying to them....and of course studying in Fenwick. They both worked together at Athleta during college and would always talk about how this would probably be the only time they would ever get to work together, given their different line of studies. Post college, when they were no longer roomies after 4 years, they started the tradition of their annual besties trip (Chicago, Philadelphia, Cancun, Canada, New York). The two are (Joey would agree) inseparable (even though Molly decided to be a city gal) and always have something to call each other about, even if they text each other 24/7. They even got bracelets welded on them with a tiny diamond to commemorate 10+ years of best-friendship.
Tanner Tamaro

Tanner & Joey met in Ms. Rorer's first grade class when they were just six years old. Joey had just moved to Roanoke from Ohio, and instantly became buds with Tanner. The two ran track together (for one season because Tanner was over it after that). They later went to high school together where they enjoyed camping, fishing, and played lacrosse together. When it was time to apply for colleges, they both "happened" to apply to Mason and continued their friendship there. While they decided to join different fraternities, the two still made time to hang out with each other whether it be grabbing dinner at Southside or playing intramural sports against each others fraternities. They also enjoyed trips to Smith Mountain Lake where they did "lake things" i.e. wakeboard, swim, fish. The first time Tanner met Avery, he warned them that she was a "spunky one".... he also said she would like swimming because she has webbed feet but that wasn't a 100% true... Side story: Tanner met Aarshika at beach week in Myrtle beach, and there was no formal introduction. Just two guys (Tanner and Pile) screaming "Joey's girlfriend!" when they passed by each other at Taco Shack.
Alexa Rogers

Alexa & Aarshika met in 2014, and bonded at a frat party over the fact that their names started with an 'A'... (Joey also pointed out that there names also and with an 'A'...) go figure... The two also bonded over being Panhellenic Delegates for their respective sororities, and loved seeing a friendly face every Tuesday during their meetings. The two always had the best time at frat parties and beach week (one of Aarshika's core beach week memory is Alexa curling her hair to Cheerleader *some details are being spared). These two really grew their friendship post-college as they navigated through adulthood. From dinner dates, work-life balance, home ownership, dog parenting (their pups Penny & Avery are besties too), to now wedding planning together, Aarshika is very grateful to have Alexa by her side.
Justin Pile

Pile & Joey met through youth group at church, right after middle school. The two went on ASP together every summer where they volunteered to work on houses. Pile also went to Mason, where the two enjoyed freshman year living in the Commons and dining at Southside. They also made trips to Wintergreen to ski/snowboard. When they both lived in Arlington at the same time, they enjoyed meeting up for puppy play dates with Ellie & Avery. Now that they live more suburban lives, the two enjoy double dates at La Campesina (IYKYK).
Chloe Randhawa

Chloe & Aarshika met through their sorority in the fall of 2013 and became Big and Little. Chloe helped Aarshika navigate through Greek life and Aarshika helped Chloe navigate her love life (aka introduced her to her now husband Vijay). The two went to countless Greek life events together in college, and navigated through post-grad together. One time Aarshika visited Chloe in Front Royal to go tubing which quickly turned into a scene from a horror movie. Their walmart tubes could not withstand the rocky river and popped while tubing. With no car or phones with them, they had to run across a farm in their swimsuits, flagging down a farmer to use his phone, which of course he didn't have, so they ended up running to the road and by some luck, Chloe's fam happened to be driving that street and rescued us... We clearly survived (and got smarter) because Chloe went off to PA school in West Virginia but the distance meant nothing to their friendship. Now that Chloe is back in the D[M]V (although Aarshika much prefers that she was in the DM[V], they are able to see each much more frequently!!!
Vijay Randhawa

Vijay & Joey met through their fraternity at Mason. Though a year older, Vijay was taking two littles from Joey's pledge class so they got to know each other pretty well. When Aarshika told Vijay about her cute little crush on Joey, he gave the seal of approval because "he's a nice guy", and also helped orchestrate the plan. Vijay & Joey later lived together in Falls Church and enjoyed watching Game of Thrones (with their lovely girlfriends, of course) and playing Fortnite (Aarshika says ty for that....). They enjoyed going to Red Sox vs. Orioles games at Camden Yards whenever the Red Sox were in town. Now that Vijay has moved to the other side AKA Maryland, the two still get to go on double dates and enjoy puppy playdates with Pete and Avery.
Ashley Holden

Ashley (or should i say Dr. Holden) & Aarshika also met through Greek life and are Big/Little. From their first Rose Date, Aarshika knew she wanted Ashley to be her little and captivated her with her charm (clearly worked). Even though Aarshika was supposed to be the role model and wise one, Ash filled that role when it was needed, and the two balanced each other. Ashley was always the voice of reason, when Aarshika wanted to make hazy decisions... From beach week, taco and margs night, Bach and wine nights, Ash's famous Buffalo Chicken Dip, and screaming BIG LITTLE the two were always together. Post-college, Ash stayed in the area for a little until she decided to move back to Ohio for her Psy. D in Clinical Psychology. The two made sure to plan trips to see each other, and they did.
Connor Maloy

Connor & Joey met through their fraternity their freshman year of college. They were pledge brothers so naturally spent a lot of time together. The two enjoyed working out together at the RAC and have fond memories at Rockcrest. Connor was in on the matchmaking team, and invited Joey to Aarshika's apartment for game night. He might not remember it, but he led a group huddle with Aarshika and others in the apartment about his game plan on making Joey fall in love with Aarshika, with Joey only a a couple feet away from that "huddle". The two have endless memories from college, and now enjoy playing golf together.
Hannah Caplinger

Hannah & Aarshika met through Joey (surprise)!!! Their friendship started with hanging out whenever Aarshika visited Joey over breaks in Roanoke, to the two texting each other about all things coffee, shopping, and planning trips. They quickly realized how similar they were and that Joey was just the reason they met but not the reason they would become great friends. They love exploring new coffee shops and finding new travel destinations. Hannah also loves going to F45 whenever she visits Joey and Aarshika. The two were finally able to do a trip together with Joey, and had the best time in Barcelona and Lisbon and can't wait for their next trip together.
