We kindly ask all guests to RSVP by March 15, 2025. All guests were given 8 to 10 months’ advance notice, and save-the-dates were sent. Since this is a destination wedding, we need a final guest count for our venue to ensure a smooth and stress-free planning process. Unfortunately, if you do not RSVP on time, we will not be able to accommodate you. Thank you for your understanding.
The wedding ceremony starts at 3:00 PM, followed by the reception. Guests staying at The Novotel Hotel will be picked up by shuttle starting at approximately 1:45 PM. Departure Time: 1:45 PM (to ensure on-time arrival with a buffer) Guest Arrival Time at Venue: Around 2:25 - 2:30 PM The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM. Guests arriving after this time will be asked to wait until the ceremony concludes before being seated. We kindly ask everyone to arrive on time to avoid any disruptions. (This does not apply to guests using the shuttle from Novotel Hotel)
Accommodations at Novotel El Tesoro To make your stay as convenient as possible, we have arranged a special group rate at Novotel El Tesoro for all our guests traveling from Canada and the USA. Staying here will ensure seamless access to our wedding events and simplify transportation with shuttle services. At this time, we will not be suggesting another hotel. For women, we request colorful long dresses to fit the garden chic theme. For men, dress pants, with a light, breathable shirt is ideal. Button-down blazers are optional—feel free to skip the tie if you prefer. Please remember to dress both comfortably and elegantly to match the occasion and venue. We are currently working on a group rate with Spirit Airlines, which offers the most affordable flights from Detroit to Medellín. However, you are welcome to choose any airline that suits your preference. Flights from Detroit to Medellín typically land at José María Córdova International Airport.

To clarify, our wedding is an adults-only event. We kindly request that guests make arrangements for their children, as the only exceptions to this policy are those children who are part of the wedding party.

The mall has everything you could possibly need for a convenient stay. For your convenience, we recommend using Uber to get around Medellín. The El Poblado area, where we’re staying, is popular with tourists. Additionally, we will have shuttles arranged for all our wedding events to make transportation as easy as possible for you.

Exchange Tips: While it’s convenient to exchange a small amount of money before arriving, you’ll find exchange services readily available at the airport, but we recommend taking money out at El Tesoro Mall.
