Boo Cubs! Coors Field, located centrally in Downtown Denver, is surrounded by one of the oldest and most popular restaurant and bar districts - LoDo. Check out the stadium then walk to Denver Milk Market, Union Station, or stop in any of the bars you'll see on the way.
A popular block to visit when in Downtown Denver, Larimer Square is always lit up and offers a variety of nice restaurants, unique bars, and boutique shops. Try Tomayo on the corner of Larimer Square for tasty modern Mexican food and margaritas on a rooftop patio.
One of the trendiest neighborhoods in Denver offers tons of great food, drinks and sites. Here are some of our favorites, but you can easily walk around the neighborhood and pop into many of these spots in one night: -Avanti Food and Beverage -My Neighbor Felix (brand new hip Mexican restaurant with great food, fun drinks, and good music) -Happy Camper (for our Chicago guests to feel right at home in one of their local restaurant/bars with a Denver Twist) -Recess (casual fun bar with outdoor seating and fire pits) -Postino (wine and bruschetta boards) -Little Man Ice-Cream (a famous Denver attraction - homemade ice cream served at an iconic 28ft tall cream can)
Denver's best pizza (at least according to the Applehans). Detroit-style pan pizza with it's infamous caramelized crust is great for an easy carry-out meal. Pick up Denver's best ice-cream while your in the neighborhood - Sweet Cow! 32nd street in the Highlands also offers lots of other food and drink options as well as local shops.
The DTC area has a variety of chain and local restaurants not too far from where you're staying. Here are a few favorites: -Snooze: One of Denver's most popular brunch spots (make sure to call ahead!). Mimosas, pancake flights, breakfast tacos.. they have it all. -Los Chingones: "Denver's hottest tacqueria" -Torchy's Tacos: A more quick and casual taco spot, but so so good. Try there breakfast tacos any time of day! -Hapa Sushi Grill & Sake Bar
