How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Our weekend of activities will all take place at the Sands Hotel & Spa in Indian Wells, California. Indian Wells is about a 25-minute drive from downtown Palm Springs and a 2-hour drive from most parts of Los Angeles. For out-of-towners, we recommend flying into either Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) or Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). PSP is the closest and most convenient airport to our venue, and LAX has the most flight options and best pricing. Other airport options are listed on the travel page.

Where should I stay in Indian Wells?

Answer

We're taking over the full Sands Hotel for the weekend of our wedding, and we would love for you to join us there. Follow the link in the Travel page to book a room using our special booking code. For an alternative, we recommend the Best Western Plus Palm Desert Resort, which is a 15-minute (0.7 mile) walk or a short drive from Sands. Or feel free to stay anywhere you'd like in Indian Wells or Palm Springs! Just keep in mind that Sands is a 25min drive from downtown Palm Springs when scheduling your day.

What time are check-in and check-out?

Answer

At Sands, check-in is 4 p.m. Friday, 11/5/21 (although early check-in is possible! And we will have a pool party that day starting at 1pm. You can always leave your bags at the font desk and enjoy the pool while your room is prepared.) Check-out is 12 p.m. Sunday, 11/7/21.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes! Although the Sands typically does not allow guests under 18, guests of all ages are welcome for the whole weekend of our wedding. If you see any language from the hotel saying it's "adults only," please ignore it! For children under the age of 10, we will provide childcare options - more info on this to come! Message us in the meantime if you have any questions.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Palm Springs is known for consistently sunny and warm weather year-round. Rain is very rare. The average temperature for November 6 is high of 79°F during the day and low of 58°F in the evening.

What is the COVID-19 policy?

Answer

In order to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests for our wedding weekend, we will be implementing the following COVID-19 protocols: - All scheduled events will be outdoors - In accordance with local guidelines for large gatherings, all guests will be required to be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination upon arrival at Sands. - If you've chosen to not be vaccinated please let us know in advance so that we can make special arrangements. - We will also be providing rapid testing at the door of the event and a negative rapid test is required for entry to Sands Hotel. We appreciate your help in making our wedding as fun and safe as possible — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
