FAQs

Question

Food, meals, drinks

Answer

We want things to be simple and communal for the weekend. Coffee and tea will be available each morning: Aaron and Kristin will also cater breakfast at the lodge each morning. Lunches will be on your own. There’s a nearby grocery store if you’d like to pick up food or drinks. The kitchen and bar is fully available to use. Friday evening: After everyone arrives and settles in, we’re thinking something easy like pizza. If you’re willing, we’d love to make this a casual group effort and have everyone pitch in a little toward dinner. Saturday evening: A seated dinner will be provided following our wedding ceremony. We’ll have some wine and beer available throughout the weekend. If you have favorite beverages or plan to enjoy more, feel free to bring something for yourself or to share. We want this weekend to be comfortable, relaxed, and easy.

Question

Lodge cost

Answer

Lodge Cost We’ve reserved the lodge for the weekend (Friday, July 31st-Monday , August 3rd). All guests will have a room in one of the three suites at the house. We hope you can stay Friday through Monday. Although a Sunday departure is okay too! To help offset the cost, we hope that each family can contribute $200 per night. It’s less than typical lodging rates in the area. If children and/or young adults are attending (we hope they do) they will have an additional room at no cost. We’re so excited about sharing a special weekend together! Aaron or Kristin can accept payment by check, Zelle, or Venmo.
