No need to drive, take a gondola to the mountain top! Beautiful, scenic overlook of all South Lake Tahoe! During the first stop you get to walk around the observation deck. The second stop takes you to the ski area. 4 minute walk from the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel! It's $63 if you do not ski, but if you buy a ski ticket, the gondola is free! You can also buy the gondola & Mountain coaster (essential a manual roller coaster down the mountain) for $93 (adult).
