Not recommended. If you are coming from outside the country we recommend for you to arrive one day before the wedding to Nicaragua. You can stay in Managua Friday, if your flight arrives late, and travel to Rancho Santana Resort Saturday morning
You can book transportation from the Managua airport to Rancho Santana by requesting the service directly with the hotel. The distance between Managua and the hotel is like 3 hrs. If getting too late at night at Managua airport you can stay in a hotel in Managua (intercontinental, holiday inn , Hyatt, Hilton princess, Nicte) and travel the next day to Rancho Santana. Do the reservation at the hotel in Managua and ask them to pick you up from the airport.
Yes. Her name is Patricia Pastora and her email aidapast@hotmail.com
We have 3 events. Friday welcome dinner- casual cocktail dress code, Saturday (ceremony) beach formal and Sunday brunch at the beach - beach attire. The RSVP Page has all the information you need. We recommend for woman to wear wedges or chunky/square heels as the wedding reception will be around the resort gardens.
In order to enter Nicaragua you will need your COVID 19 vaccination card showing at least 2 doses. Make sure you take your original one and pictures. The Personnel at the airport will ask you to show the originals card. If you don’t have one , you will need to show a negative PCR (polymerase chain reaction) COVID test result taken no more than 72 hours prior to entry. Please make sure the test is nasal PCR, the authorities will not accept rapid antigen tests or blood tests. In addition, the results should have a pharmacy seal, your name, date and time the test was taken. Make sure that you print out your results as you’ll have to show them when you arrive. If you’re entering Nicaragua directly via air travel into the Managua airport and using the PCR test, your airline will email you requesting you to send your negative COVID test results to them no less than 36 hours before your flight into the country. Be on the lookout for emails from them - if you do not submit your test results within that window, they might not let you board If you’re entering Nicaragua through Costa Rica via the Liberia airport, the requirements are the same either vaccination card or PCR Test. you will not have to submit your negative COVID test results to the airline (unless they require it). Just make sure to have taken your test no more than 72 hours prior to entering the country (at the border) and have the results printed out as the Costa Rican immigration authorities at the airport will require to see them when you tell them that you’re only in Costa Rica in transit to Nicaragua. Costa Rica does not require a COVID test to enter the country and stay, but they do require them if you tell them you’re in transit to Nicaragua (which you are). If you don’t have results, they can send you back
RSVP must be done at least 2 months before the Wedding. Please RSVP by Sept 5 2022. If your RSVP is not received by that date you won’t be on the wedding list provided to the hotel/events

Is better if you stay at the same resort as transportation from other hotels maybe be complicated. Rancho Santana hotel rooms availability is limited, do your room reservation as soon as possible as they will book fast. In the travel section you will find a discount code that you can use to book your room. If all the rooms have been booked they will provide you with more options
Let us know as soon as possible to be able to send it to the chef. No changes can be done the day of the wedding event. Any vegetarian plates will be just under previous request
The hotel will provide transportation from the hotel to the chapel and back. They will be ready 45 minutes to an hour Before the ceremony, so plan accordingly
You can book transportation from the Liberia airport to Rancho Santana via the Costa Rica-Nicaragua border with TSO travel and tours. His company has a fleet of vehicles of all sizes to accommodate a variety of group sizes and luggage. In addition to transportation, you can ask for a bilingual guide who will be with you every step of the way through the border crossing (which is easy). You can also request to have someone carry your luggage while you cross. You can contact Erika/ TSO travel on WhatsApp (+505 85332696) only. When you’re ready to contact him you can copy us and we can help. You’ll be picked up by one of Marlon’s drivers at the Liberia airport, he’ll drive you to Penas Blancas (the border post) and you’ll walk out with your guide to “exit Costa Rica” and then walk through “no man’s land” (a short 5-10ish min. walk) to Nicaraguan immigration where you’ll enter the country. Marlon will have another driver waiting for you on the Nicaraguan side in the parking lot of the immigration building to take you to rancho Santana. There is an imagination form you must complete to access Nicaragua that can be done online and must be submitted prior to your trip so please coordinate transportation with enough time
A dress, suit, or jumpsuit all work for a beach formal wedding. Opt for lighter colors . Bright or light colors tend to look better than dark colors (avoiding dress in 100%, cream, and white) and breathable fabrics. Tea-length dresses and jumpsuits are acceptable for beach formal attire. To up the elegance, wear a fabric such as lace. Since stilettos are a hazard on the grass, wear a chunky heel or formal sandals. Wear either a suit or a long-sleeved shirt and tie with a jacket and slacks. Opt for solid colors, avoiding cream, and white—a summer suit is a perfect solution. Consider a breathable fabric such as linen, khaki, or seersucker. Dress shoes or a nice pair of shoes that compliment the slacks are required. Shorts and sandals are not permitted.
A dress, suit, formal romper, or jumpsuit all work for semi-formal. Feel free to include prints, avoiding anything too loud. Dressy sandals, chunky heels, and wedges are acceptable footwear options. While a jacket isn’t required, a breathable sport coat or unique blazer is a fun addition. Feel free to include prints, avoiding anything too loud. Shoes can be a little more casual, but still need to be closed-toe, such as a loafer or deck shoe. Shorts and sandals are not permitted.
