The Dupont Circle Hotel
Please note that we are working with Dupont Circle Doyle Collection and have secured a group block with the hotel for 20 rooms at a fixed price from Friday, April 18 until Sunday, April 20. Please contact Aaron, at aa11salm@gmail.com, for more details if you'd like to secure a room there. The deadline to announce guest names using the hotel block is March 28, 2025. This hotel is a 5 minute drive, or a 20 minute walk, from the wedding venue.

Here are the hotels closest to our venue, Josephine Butler Parks Center: The LINE DC - 0.4 miles (9-minute walk) from the venue - Metro Stop: Columbia Heights (Green/Yellow Line) - Kimpton Carlyle Hotel Dupont Circle - 0.7 miles (15-minute walk or 4-minute drive) from the venue - Metro Stop: Dupont Circle (Red Line) - Washington Hilton - 0.9 miles (18-minute walk or 5-minute drive) from the venue - Metro Stop: Dupont Circle (Red Line) Please note that many of the more private activities for the couple's families and wedding party will likely take place in the Silver Spring area, between the Forest Glen and Wheaton Red Line metro stops. We suggest the Silver Spring area hotels, below. Washington Metro (WMATA)
Washington, D.C. is a fairly small city and is easy to navigate city by car, taxi, Lyft/Uber, or Metro. If you choose accommodation close to one of the Metro lines, please note that the Josephine Butler Parks Center is located near the following metro stations: -Green/Yellow line: Columbia Heights station, 14 minute (.6 mi) walk to the venue. -Green/Yellow line: U Street/African-American Civil War Memorial/Cardozo station, a 15 minute (.7 mi) walk to the venue ... if you are coming from this station, use the U & 13th St. NW exit. -Red line: Dupont Circle station, a 24 minute (1.1 mi) walk from the venue. *Metro closes at 1 am on Saturday evenings.
Flight
Washington D.C. Airports
The Washington, D.C. has three main airports. For international travelers, consider Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) in Maryland or Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) in Virginia. BWI is not on the WMATA system. IAD is on the Silver Line, with transfers to Green/Yellow at L'Enfant and Red at Metro Center. For domestic travelers, your airport will most likely be (he who shall not be named) National Airport (DCA) in Arlington. DCA is on the Yellow/Blue line. If you have accommodation on the Red line, you can transfer at Metro Center (from Blue to Red) or Gallery Place (from Yellow to Red).
