Mystic Aquarium
Though Bridget doesn't work here anymore, it is obviously at the top of our list. The penguin habitat and sea lion show come with the highest personal recommendation. Be sure to say hi to Green/Black! If you decide to head to downtown Mystic, the Ship Wright's Daughter, Nana's, Sift, and Pizzetta are a few of our favorite restaurants. (Advanced tickets are recommended for the aquarium)
Stonington Vineyards
Local winery with good wine, and a large outdoor space. Dogs and outside food are welcome (with a small snack purchase). We recommend the Seaport White.
The Flour Girl Cafe
This is been a frequent breakfast spot for us, especially when we lived in Amston. Good casual food, and great bread at the sister bakery next door. We usually get the wake up wrap and the latte of the season.
Mohegan Sun
If you aren't local you may not know that CT is well known for its casinos. Mohegan sun is very close to our apartment. Neither of us like to gamble, but the casino has lots of restaurants, bars, and shops.
