We met through mutual friends while both living in Colorado. Aaron and I were introduced (or reintroduced depending on who you ask) because he was interviewing at Colgate (where Bridget went to school). We got to talking, and kept talking even after he landed the job and moved to New York. After lots of long phone calls, we started dating long distance. We traded off visiting each other when we each travelled to see our families. Finally, we were able to be in the same city when we found our way to Kansas City. Then we became a family of three when we added our dog Moose! A few years later we moved to Connecticut together when Bridget got a job at the Mystic Aquarium. We got engaged at MASS MoCA in North Adam, in the Sol LeWitt gallery where we had an early date during our time long distance. We eloped in Colorado in 2022 with a very small group of family, and we are very excited to celebrate our marriage with our family and friends next June!
