House Or Rental
Our Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding Ceremony and Reception, as well as post-Wedding Breakfast will all be on-site at Cloughjordan House. We highly recommend that you stay at Cloughjordan House, as that is where all of the action will be! Cloughjordan House has accommodations for all guests in attendance. To confirm you would like on-site housing arrangements made for you at Cloughjordan House, please RSVP to this option.
Flight
This is likely the best option for close proximity to Cloughjordan. Dublin Airport is a 90 minute drive from Cloughjordan House. If you are flying back to the US from Ireland, you must clear US customs and immigration in Dublin before boarding your flight, so please arrive at the airport at the very least 3 hours before your flight departure time.
Train
While in general Ireland is not as train friendly as other European countries, there are a couple of trains per day that will take you from Dublin to Cloughjordan in 1:45 min, costing approximately 15 euros. Once you arrive at Cloughjordan village train station, you can either call a taxi (see list of taxis) or walk 17 minutes along footpaths to Cloughjordan House. If you are planning to travel around Ireland beyond the wedding weekend, then renting a car might be the most convenient and will certainly give you the most freedom (that's if you're willing to brave driving on the left side of the road!).
Rental Car
Each of the main airports have a variety of options for renting cars to get you around Ireland during your stay. Just remember, driving is on the left side of the street!
