A Note from the Couple

We are so grateful to celebrate this special moment with our family and friends. Your love, support, and presence mean the world to us as we begin this new chapter together. On June 12, 2026, we will gather at The Remedy Church to exchange our vows and commit our lives to one another. Our wedding day will center around the most meaningful part of the celebration — our ceremony. Surrounded by those we love most, we will share this sacred moment and begin our marriage grounded in faith, love, and community. After the ceremony, we will spend a brief time greeting guests before departing for a small private dinner reception with our immediate family. Guests are encouraged to wear elegant shades of blue in honor of our special day. 💙 Thank you for being part of our story and for sharing in this unforgettable moment with us. With love, Aaron & Alicia

From Swipe to Forever: When God Writes the Love Story

One match, one extension, and a forever guided by faith.

Our love story started the modern way—on Bumble. On February 6, 2022, we matched… and then Alicia let the time run out. (Yes, really.) Thankfully, Aaron wasn’t about to let a good thing slip away and extended the match—clearly the MVP of this story. Once we started talking, the connection was easy, natural, and full of laughs. Not long after, we went on our first date at Cooper’s Hawk, and from that very first night, we knew something was different. What was supposed to be “just a date” turned into hours of conversation, nonstop smiles, and an instant spark. By March 28th, we made it official. Like any real love story, ours has had its share of ups and downs, but through it all, God continued to guide our steps and remind us that we were meant to walk this journey together. What we’ve built is rooted in faith, friendship, laughter, and unconditional love—and we are so grateful for every moment that led us here. We can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all of you.

The Proposal

As the holidays approached, Alicia had started to wonder when Aaron might propose. However, she was pretty confident about one thing — it definitely wasn’t happening at Christmas. During a family Christmas gathering, everyone decided to play a gift swap game. To be honest, Alicia didn’t even want to play at first, but eventually joined in once the game got going. The game included different prompts for swapping gifts, one of them being: “Swap gifts if you’re wearing matching shirts.” Now, Alicia and Aaron just happened to be wearing matching shirts — mainly because Alicia was really into the holiday spirit and had embraced the whole “matching outfits” thing. When that rule came up, the room quickly noticed their matching shirts and the gifts were swapped. What seemed like just another funny moment in the game suddenly turned into something much more meaningful. Aaron revealed that the real surprise wasn’t in the gift at all. In the middle of the laughter and holiday chaos, he got down on one knee and asked Alicia to marry him. Completely caught off guard — and surrounded by family — Alicia said yes, and just like that, the journey to becoming the Womacks began.
