Science Spectrum & OMNI Theater
The Science Spectrum is Lubbock's local Science and Children's museum, it also holds a place near and dear to our hearts as Abbey's dad, James, is the Operation's Director. She has spent countless hours over the years exploring and enjoying the museum as well as working and teaching there. Between the OMNI theater, aquarium and 3 floors of interactive exhibits, you'll find fun for all ages.
SkyGardens
Sky Gardens in Levelland, just outside of Lubbock is a gorgeous experience that you won't want to miss. You get to stroll their array of beautiful fresh field grown flowers, and pick your very own bouquet. There are also adorable animals on the property to pet and feed! We have spent many date nights out on the farm, and are also sourcing some of our wedding flowers here!
Flix Brewhouse (Formerly Alamo)
Catch a movie at Flix Brewhoue! This unique theatre offers table side service throughout the movie. They have a full menu of delicious food and drinks but our honest favorite is the bottomless popcorn. It's probably the best popcorn you'll ever have in your life (I had to update this because Alamo went out of business after I made this page - I stand by the atmosphere but I can no longer reliably speak to the popcorn- it is still bottomless).
GolfSuites Lubbock
Go practice your swing or let off some steam at Golf Suites. We always have a blast here!
Clay Cafe
If you're feeling crafty, paint some pottery at Clay Cafe! After painting, pieces are fired by the staff at Clay Cafe, and can take up to two weeks to be complete. If you decide to do this activity, reach out to the bride at 806-224-3352 and she will personally arrange for your piece to be shipped to you.
Orlando's Italian Restaurant
We had our first official date at Orlandos and it had remained one of our absolute favorite restaurants in town ever since! We recommend the Green Chile Chicken Linguine, The Chicken Dijon Pasta, or any of their Pizzas! You can't go wrong.
Candle Bar
For a swanky and delicious dining experience, try Candle Bar. They serve brunch, lunch and dinner- I highly recommend visiting for brunch or lunch. They offer a rotating seasonal menu and every dish we've ever tried has been exceptional. They also have a gorgeous and fun boutique attached to the restaurant.
Evie Mae's BBQ
For the best BBQ in town, and even the official top 10 best in the State, we highly recommend giving Evie Mae's a try. Go for lunch, they sell out fast.
Buns Over Texas
One of the best burgers in Town! We recommend the cheesy fries too!
Yanagi Ramen
This is Abbey's favorite Sushi spot!
Mamarita's Border Cafe
If you want to try the most delicious, addictive Chips & Queso you will EVER have, try Mamaritas. We usually get queso and split a mama's mucho nacho. *They allow smoking in their enclosed bar area and the restaurant smells aggressively like cigarette smoke, we always sit on the outdoor patio* THE QUESO IS SO WORTH IT

For great vibes, a delicious breakfast and an excellent latte, try ninety-two bakey and cafe!
