FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP Deadline?

Answer

We would love it if you could RSVP as soon as possible, following the arrival of your formal invitation, to help us better coordinate and finalize our day. We are realistically aiming to have all RSVPs collected no later than August 22nd. All RSVPS will be collected online, directly through this website. We understand life happens, and plans change. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the bride at aastamps2026@gmail.com.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Please wear your Sunday best! We encourage and invite floral prints, colorful patterns, sundresses, suits (with or without a tie), and most of all, something you feel comfortable and beautiful in!

Question

Are Children invited?

Answer

YES! Some of my favorite childhood memories were attending family weddings, and we want all of the children close to us to be included and welcome at our day! There will be reception activities geared towards children, and exciting food options for them as well. That being said, we encourage you to chat with your child about wedding etiquette beforehand. This is a great opportunity to practice and learn. You know your child best, and if sitting through the ceremony may be a challenge, we completely understand making other arrangements.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 11:30 am. Please plan to arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes in advance to ensure you have time to take in the view and settle into your seat! Parking lots for the venue are a low-intensity walk across a scenic bridge, and we are working on transportation options for guests who would prefer not to walk. Please also be mindful that this venue is about 30 minutes outside of Lubbock, to appropriately account for your drive time. We can't wait to see you!

Question

Will the wedding be Indoor or Outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors. Hopefully, we will be blessed with beautiful fall weather, but as most of you know, Lubbock can get windy in the blink of an eye. The reception to follow will be held primarily indoors, with lawn games and activities outdoors in the patio area. Both the ceremony and reception are on the same venue property.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes! You are welcome to bring a plus one! We only ask that you please account for them in your RSVP, and try to RSVP sooner rather than later.

Question

What are we eating? Should I eat before?

Answer

Please come ready for a delicious, fresh-cooked brunch and horderves! There will be many filling food options available, as well as a LARGE variety of made-to-order drink options. I don't want to spoil everything, but we personally are very excited about the food. Food service will begin immediately following the ceremony.
