About Us!
About US: Ari and Aaron met at Harvard Hillel, where they both found their community in college. Although Ari doesn't remember meeting Aaron, she got to know him better on their walks from Hillel on Friday nights back to their dorms. (They were both in the Radcliffe Quad, which is further away from campus). And she got to know Aaron as the host of the best Shabbat onegs (aside from the inimitable Edyt Dickstein, of course). Right as Ari began to become interested in Aaron, however, he moved to London for his study abroad! But in the summer of 2017, Ari and Aaron ended up living in the same GWU dorm for their D.C. summer internships. Over the course of many microwave meals, walks in disgusting humidity, and one harrowing roadtrip, Ari and Aaron got much closer. And on October 21, 2017, Ari and Aaron began dating. Nearly eight years later, after one pandemic, several years of long distance, and many, many Shabbat meals later, Ari and Aaron are finally getting married!
