Question

Do I need to be vaccinated against COVID-19?

Answer

Yes. For the safety of all guests, you MUST be fully vaccinated. It is highly recommended that you receive a booster at least two weeks before attending the wedding.

Question

Do I need to get tested for COVID-19 before attending the wedding?

Answer

For the safety of everyone attending our wedding we request that all guests get tested for COVID-19 (PCR is preferred due to its accuracy), regardless of vaccination status, no more than 3 days prior to February 20. If you have recently recovered from COVID-19, and prior to February 6, you may test positive for several weeks to months, but according to the CDC guidelines, you are not considered to be contagious. However, we request that you notify us if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or if you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 within two weeks (February 6-February 20) of our event. If you feel sick on our wedding day, please let us know and we will find an alternative way to celebrate with you at a later time. Although we will not be collecting test results, we appreciate your honesty and transparency in obtaining your COVID-19 test and of notifying us if you are exhibiting COVID symptoms within two weeks of our wedding.

Question

What safety protocols will be in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19?

Answer

We want to ensure that all of our guests feel comfortable and safe. To that end, we are having our ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors (weather permitting). We will have an update about the expected temperatures and precipitation as we get closer to the date. The celebration will continue indoors in a large ballroom. We are limiting the amount of guests at each table so that everyone can be seated farther apart and the tables will be spaced within the room at least 6 feet apart. We are not requiring guests to wear masks, but if you are more comfortable wearing one when you are not eating or drinking we encourage you to bring your own facial mask if desired.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless specified on your invitation, we are not able to accommodate additional plus-ones.

Question

What about kids?

Answer

Our wedding is adult only. 18+ so everyone can relax and enjoy the wedding events.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Attire is black tie optional.

Question

What will the weather be like in February?

Answer

The weather in Miami Beach in February is usually dry and beautiful. The temperatures generally range between 65 to 76 degrees Fahrenheit. Of course, every once in a while we can experience an unusual cold front or heat wave so we recommend checking the expected temperature before packing your suitcase if you are coming from out of town.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are looking forward to having the ceremony outdoors, weather permitting, and the reception in the indoors ballroom. We recommend you bring a light coverup for the ceremony if the weather is on the cooler side the day of the wedding. We will be outdoors for at least one hour unless it is raining or unreasonably cold.
