Our theme is whimsical garden party. We encourage guests to incorporate florals into their outfits.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The wedding is outdoors. September is warm in Michigan but can get chilly at night.

I'm traveling from out of town. Where do I stay?
Answer
We’ve reserved room blocks at two hotels in Holland, Michigan: Tulyp, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and the Courtyard by Marriott, for Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20, 2026. Both are in a quiet downtown area with lots of great restaurants and shops, and they’re less than 15 minutes from the venue. Both hotels are within a 3 minute walking distance from one another.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Parking at the venue is very limited. Transportation will be provided to and from the hotels to make things easy and safe. Check out the Travel page for more info.

What should I wear?
Answer
Midi length dresses are encouraged. Men may wear a traditional suit or tie or forgo the jacket to accommodate the warmer weather. Please avoid any cream or light color dresses. The wedding is primarily outdoors in a backyard. Ladies should wear a block heel or wedge if choosing high heels to accommodate grass.

What time should I arrive at the venue?
Answer
We encourage you to arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. The shuttle will pick guests up promptly at 3 pm in the parking lot of the Hilton hotel, and drop guests off around 3:30 pm.

We’re only able to invite children who are family to the celebration. We appreciate your understanding!
