San Juan Islands
Take a trip to one of the San Juan Islands! Our personal favorites are Orcas Island and San Juan Island. Orcas Island: Hike up Mt Constitution (or drive up, if youre into that) and climb up the look out tower and take in the views of Bellingham, the Skagit Vallley, Chuckanut Mountains, and the Islands. If you're lucky, you might see an eagle! There are also tons of trails in Moran State Park. Make sure you stop in East sound to have a drink at Island Hoppin' Brewery. San Juan Island: You won't regret a day at Friday Harbor! Look at boats, visit Sammy the seal at the fish market, wine taste, shop, visit the Whale Museum, and more! HAVE FUN!
Deception Pass State Park
Deception Pass state park is a stone's throw from Anacortes. It features several beaches, picnic areas, and beautiful views. A little bit down the road from Deception Pass is Rosario Beach, where we got our engagement photos taken.
