Question

What are the travel requirements for Tobago?

Answer

U.S. citizens only need a valid passport and a plane ticket to travel to Tobago. No visa or special vaccinations are required for stays less than 90 days. We do recommend checking that your passport is up to date and has at least one blank page for entry stamps, as well as reviewing your airline’s travel guidelines before departure.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Tobago offers a wonderful range of accommodations, from boutique hotels to spacious vacation home rentals. The Bride and Groom will be staying in the Tobago Plantations neighborhood, located in Lowlands, Tobago. The wedding ceremony and reception will also be held at this location. Tobago Plantations features everything from large beachfront villas to cozy bungalows and apartments. We encourage guests to explore rentals in this neighborhood as it is the most convenient option if you would like to stay close to us and easily coordinate transportation for optional group activities throughout the week. We will be staying at Rose and Pristine Villa (Tobago Plantations, 130, Lowlands, Trinidad & Tobago), if you would like to stay close to us!

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue in Tobago Plantations, located in Lowlands.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one or children?

Answer

Although we would love to accommodate everyone, we are only able to include the guests whose names are shown on your invitation. We plan to send formal invitations during Summer 2026, but please reach out if you have any questions. Thank you for understanding and for celebrating this day with us!

Question

Anything else to know about Trinidad and Tobago?

Answer

English is the official language of Trinidad and Tobago, so do not worry about any language barrier regarding signage or communication! The local currency is in Trinidad & Tobago Dollars (TTD). It is recommended that you exchange some USD for TTD, as many establishments only accept cash. For the establishments that do accept card, a US-based credit card can be used and the funds will be automatically converted. Regarding car rentals, T&T drivers drive on the left side of the road, so it is recommended that you opt for hired transportation if you are not comfortable with this difference.
