Wawa
WaWa is a staple in the northeast. Pop in to grab a hoagie, salad, some snacks, drinks, a meal. It's up you! Yes it's a convenience store, but it's so much more. Wawa is about 10 minutes from the Homewood Suites.
Wegmans
Wegman's is our favorite grocery store. It's located 10 minutes away and has a great variety of both groceries as well as prepared meals you could bring back to the hotel and warm up. There are a few other grocery stores slightly closer, but Wegmans is the freshest and is the store we would recommend. You will find many takeout food options in this area, as well as our local mall.
Yum Yum Bake Shops
If you are looking for a good, fresh donut head to Yum Yum!
Fischer's Park
Located 15 to 20 minutes away, this park has some nice trails through the woods and a small creek. There is also a playground and some picnic tables.
Merrymead Farm
If you are in the mood for some homemade ice cream and a visit to a local dairy farm, Merrymead is for you. Located 10 minutes from the hotel, this is also the first place Michele ever worked as a tour guide!
Peace Valley Park
This park is a bit farther out (20 to 30 minutes from the hotel), but it is a favorite for Michele. Peace Valley is centered around a lake and has trails, playgrounds, and provides a great place to picnic, walk, or just sit.
Parkside Place Park
Built by volunteers in our local community, this HUGE play structure is only 5 minutes away! Climb the enormous wooden tower to go down the slide, easily play hide and seek in all the different tunnels and levels. There are also basketball courts, picnic tables, and some small trails.
