An all-district bowler in high school (a title he carries with casual pride), Jonathan now works remotely alongside Kathryn - living the dream as they build a life full of shared playlists, game nights, laughter, and a deep love that makes even the ordinary days feel special. With a heart devoted to serving others, Saaima gives without keeping score and loves with fierce loyalty. She's Kathryn's forever hype woman, armed with confetti, words of affirmation, and pep talks. If Kathryn had a fan club, Saaima would be president, treasurer, and head of merch. Saaima is a medical doctor in her home country, a devoted wife to her husband Fahad, and a supermom to two teenagers (Daanya and Faris) and her twin baby boys (Muaz and Musa). Somehow, she does it all with humor and grace. Having Saaima by their side on this day is a reminder of just how beautiful chosen family can be.

Mike is husband to Rebecca, stepdad to Charlotte, and devoted dog dad to Gino and Winnie.

From Neopets and Myspace to dance classes, poetry, and home videos, they've always shared a love for creativity, humor, and going through life side by side. Though their paths have taken them in different directions, they always find their way back to each other. She's more than a friend - she's family. Val has overcome more in her life than most people know, and she's come out the other side with strength, humor, and a rare kind of wisdom. She's hilarious, sharp, deeply intuitive, and perceptive in a way that makes you feel seen - even when you haven't said a word. Now, Valerey hosts her own podcast called Passenger Seat Parlay. Kat likes to think she was Val's original co-host, even if it was just hairbrush mics and middle school gossip. Kat and Jonathan are so honored to have her by their side on their big day.

He is incredibly empathetic and encouraging. Chris is the guy cheering you on the loudest, celebrating your wins like his own. In short, Chris is a wise soul, the world's greatest hype man, and such an amazing friend. Chris is a successful employment lawyer, husband to Liz (also a lawyer - ultimate power couple), and proud dad to Henry and Nora.

She's quirky and incredibly thoughtful, often leaving a drink on Kathryn's desk before the day even begins, just because she knows it's going to be a long one. Their friendship has consisted of late-night board games, laughter so loud it probably got them side-eyed in public, and the kind of deep conversations that only come after you've cried in each other's presence and somehow still make it to work the next day. He and Jonathan became close over late-night heart-to-hearts, life's big questions, and probably a shared existential crisis or two. Joey's relentless dedication to those he holds dear is evident in every interaction he has - sincerity and an honest hope that you come through the other side a better version of yourself. Through every season, Joey has been a constant - part best friend, part life coach, and now, part wedding clergy. He's husband to Emily, girl dad to Ellie, Lily, and Phoebe, and now, ordained minister by the power vested in him by the internet. As Father Joey, he brings a perfect mix of wisdom, wit, and emotional damage control. He won't be wearing robes, but rest assured, he brings the presence and the authority to make you think he owns at least three. He may not technically run a parish, but Father Joey is definitely the guy you'd want officiating your wedding (or possibly narrating your life). Though she won't be with us in person, she will be watching from heaven, wrapping this day in her love and pride. Her spirit will be felt in every laugh, every tear, and every joyful moment shared.

If you've ever been on the receiving end of her playful roasting, congratulations: you've been loved. Wife to Terry and mother to Jonathan and Matthew, Mary is the kind of mom who tells it like it is and is not afraid to keep you on top of your game, including dragging her kid out of bed. Case in point: when Jonathan was little and refused to get out of bed one morning, Mary took matters into her own hands - tickling him out of bed like any sane parent would. He immediately slammed into the dresser and shouted, " You dented me!" To this day, it remains one of her proudest parenting moments (and honestly, one of Jonathan's most quotable). She's equal parts love, laughter, and no nonsense - and if you don't adore her yet, give it five minutes.

Kathryn's dad, Bruce, is the kind of man you HOPE is on your life team. He is steady, selfless, and always willing to show up (often with tools in hand). A mechanical engineer by trade and a full-time problem solver by nature, he has spent a lifetime quietly making the lives around him a whole lot easier - whether that means fixing a leaky faucet, giving solid advice, or reminding us that unconditional love doesn't come with a user manual. He's a loyal, grace-filled father to Kathryn and her brother Steven, and husband who set the gold standard. Truly, if you ask what it looks like to live like Jesus...it's Bruce (Jesus sandals optional). He is the rock you can fall back on, the guy who will help you move a couch without asking questions, and the one who reminds you - just by being himself - that love, kindness, and a little elbow grease go a long way.

Jonathan's dad, Terry, is a retired middle school social studies teacher, a HUGE West Virginia Mountaineers fan, and has enough John Wayne references to last a lifetime. Some of Jonathan's best qualities, such as his respect for others and whole-hearted dedication to his family and loved ones, are qualities he inherited from Terry. Terry spent nearly two decades in the classroom and somehow made it out alive - along with generations of students who now know far more about the American Revolution than they probably needed. Some of Jonathan's favorite times were calling his Dad during West Virginia basketball/football games, freaking out they were going to lose, just so he could get the calming reassurance from his dad. Terry is forever a steady presence in Jonathan's life. One of Jonathan's favorite memories? The day he and his dad accidentally summoned a literal rain cloud inside Terry's portable classroom. Science experiment? Maybe. Whatever it was, Terry made a core memory for Jonathan that will stick with them for the rest of their lives.
