Will you have a welcome event?
Answer
The bride and groom are hosting a very casual welcome event held in the conference room of the SpringHill Suites on Friday, April 10th. If you're in town the day before the wedding, feel free to come as you are, pick up a welcome gift, and hang out with the soon-to-be newlyweds from 11am to 3pm.

Will you be serving alcohol?
Answer
There will be an open bar with a selection of beers, wines, cider, and two signature wine-based cocktails. There will also be an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages, including sodas, iced tea, lemonade, and water.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Unfortunately the venue is unable to accommodate additional guests or plus-ones unless noted on the invite. Thanks so much for understanding!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, there is ample parking available at the venue. The ceremony and reception will take place at the same location. Please note that rideshare and taxi services are limited in the area, so we kindly ask that you plan to drive and ensure your vehicle is removed by the end of the evening.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Semi Formal with a Splash of Spring: Think evening gowns, cocktail dresses, blouses with dress slacks, suits, and slacks with dress shirts and ties. Seasonal spring hues - pastels, florals, or any fresh, cheerful color.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While the couple adores children, they have chosen to make their wedding and reception an adults-only celebration, with the exception of those specifically named on the invitation. This allows guests to relax and enjoy the evening as a special night out. Guests who anticipate needing to bring children are kindly asked to contact the couple in advance. Please note that during the ceremony and speeches, any small children in attendance will be required to stay with an on-site babysitter.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors with a stunning view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. April weather in Ellijay, Georgia is typically sunny or partly cloudy, with average temperatures ranging from 46 degrees F to 71 degrees F. In the unlikely event of rain, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the barn.
