When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The sooner the better! But we’d like to reserve seats by August 1st 2024.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our venue capacity is very limited, therefore plus ones are by invitation only. If your invite does not state a plus one, then please do not bring one. Thank you for respecting our wishes!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your child's name was included on the invite then they are welcome! We just ask that you keep them quiet and seated during the ceremony. We want to ease the job of our photographers and wish not to be photobombed!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! The venue is offering special prices for the guests of our wedding. Rooms are subject to availability. Here’s the booking link : https://campaign.berjayahotel.com/weddings/james-brown-and-vanessa/ For guests that prefer staying at Colmar, it is a 6 minute walk away from The Chateau.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available at the Chateau Resort itself (you’d have to drive up through the Chateau entrance, and security will help you) - and if parking is full, there is an overflow parking lot not too far away!

What if I want to bring an extra person?

Answer

Unfortunately all our seats are numbered, so if you bring an extra person without notifying us, they will not be guaranteed a seat. Please contact us if you really want to bring an extra person before submitting your RSVP!

Do I have to pay an entrance fee going up to Berjaya Hills?

Answer

No! But only if you show your invite/e-invite for the wedding, at the guardhouse. So don’t forget to take a screenshot or bring your invite along.

Question

How long is the drive up to the Chateau from Kuala Lumpur?

Answer

Typically it takes about 1.5 hours to drive there, but on Public Holidays (Merdeka) and Public Holiday eve, it can stretch out to 2 hours or more. We want you to be comfortable and plan ahead for the journey. And if it’s more convenient to book a stay, by all means you should!
