We are kindly asking for our guests to wear formal attire. No need for super fancy or elaborate tuxedos or ballgowns (unless you would like!). Please, no hats, jeans, tutus, capes (maybe), disguises, or crocs </3.
Due to the couple living half way across the country, we would appreciate gifts delivered to the couple's home. The Amazon registry has an option to deliver to us directly, however, sometimes it will not say who the gift is from. If you would like to leave a comment on the gift receipt, or even message one of us, that would be greatly appreciated! If this is not possible, delivery to the return address from your Save the Date will suffice. If neither of these are an option, we will have limited space in our vehicle to transport gifts from Illinois back home. --Thank you in advance!

We are hoping for an outdoor wedding (weather permitting). There is not a paved walkway so wear grass walking shoes if possible! Transportation similar to golf carts will be available to walk from the reception hall to the ceremony site.
There will NOT be a shuttle to and from the venue.
We will be having an open bar, last drinks served at 10:30PM. Please stay responsible and respectful. No shots are allowed and there are many options of spirits, beer, wine, and seltzers. No outside alcohol is permitted.
Our wedding colors are black, light beige, and white. The men won't be wearing ties, but don't let that stop you from getting a jazzy tie! Melissa loves a good conversation piece SHOE! If you have popping pink shoes, sparkly shoes, or anything formal and fun, feel free to twinkle:) All we ask is that our guests do NOT wear white or light beige as this is reserved for the couple.
The couple has addressed envelopes to each person that is invited. Upon RSVPing on our website (once invites have been sent), you will need to RSVP for each individual person invited. This will be listed by name.
DeeDee's Main Street Coffee is great for a flavored coffee on the main street of Rockton. Rookies has fantastic bar food and good ranch! Otherwise you will find endless options in Rockford or Beloit.
We will have a professional photographer for the ceremony and our special moments. We ask you remain in your seat for photos of the couple and be respectful of our photographer and others. Please avoid using the flash as it may interfere with other photos and guest experiences.
