Jess is my sorority sister and twin. Throughout college we bonded over late night study parties, trips down town, and snuggle fests in room three. But beyond UCSB we have grown even closer. She is a vivacious woman who always keeps me laughing and grounded.

We met in college and (almost) instantly became good friends. He is definitely the smartest person I know and I always run my hair brained get rich quick schemes by him first.

Lucia and I met while doing Teach For America, in Pine Bluff, AR. If you know anybody who's been a first year teacher, you understand that Lucia and I are basically war buddies. We held each other up through the hardest years for a teacher, and were there for each other in the most precious and difficult moments. After our TFA commitment we spent two years living in NOLA together. Lucia was also there from day 1 with Greg and I! (I'm sure she has some stories to tell.)

We met way back in 2002 at Tuskegee more than likely at a frat party. He has been my big brother ever since. From popping cheap bottles to crashing fish frys.

Shanny is also one of my sorority sisters, and we have so many amazing memories frolicking around UCSB together. She has also been my travel buddy! (She's visited me in 3 states, and we've done two out of country trips together.) Beyond all that, Shanny has given me countless laughs, and has always been my voice of reason.

It has always been my mom, Tamera and I. Growing up we all had to lean on each other, and even though we fought hard (as kids), we've always loved hard too. Tamera is the family comedian, and fashion expert. In 2018 Tamera will be following in her big sister's footsteps, attending UCSB, and I couldn't be prouder! Greg is also very excited to add another little sister to his family, especially one that is as goofy and outgoing as him!

My third and lovely Tri Delta in the wedding party! Taylor is my little prankster, and constantly doing things to make myself and others laugh. One of my favorite things about Taylor is her zest for life, and how much she makes herself (and others giggle) with her jokes and sneaky little pranks! Even though I've lived across the country for most of our years since college, we have remained close because of her huge heart!
