On July 4, 2015 while boating with friends on Shackleford Banks - five miles, as the crow flies, from where we are getting married! We struck up conversation while facing one another on opposite boats, and seemed to hit it off. Thinking this could be something special, we planned for Kelly to visit Brittany in Durham, NC a few weeks later. We both left that Durham weekend certain it was something special, and the rest is history.

After approx. 4.5 years, lots of driving (to/from Durham and to/from DE and PA), lots of adventures/trips, lots of homebody time (we love a good garage hangout), and lots of time spent with Kelly's two sons, Finn (now 10) and Lundy (now 8), Kelly proposed after Sunday brunch (who would expect that!?) near the pier on Atlantic Beach, NC. We can't wait to bring together our families and friends (from Brooklyn, NY to St. Augustine, FL), and our backgrounds (Delaware and Southern Outer Banks), and celebrate our love & commitment to one another with you!
