Travel

Our wedding will be taking place amongst the beautiful California Redwoods in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Felton, where our venue is located, is a small town approximately 10 minutes from Santa Cruz. We have chosen three hotels, all short distances from the venue. Room blocks are now closed but links to hotels are below. Due to the remote nature of the venue, we recommend having access to a car or carpool. Ride shares are possible but they need to be scheduled ahead of time and depending on your cellular provider, service is iffy at the venue. So, it can be very challenging to use Uber or Lyft to get back. March is usually a chilly time of year and it is likely that mist and fog will grace us with their presence so please include a warm jacket when packing. For those flying in, San Jose is the closest airport and about 45 minutes to both Santa Cruz and the venue. SFO is another option but it is further away. Flight

San Jose Mineta Intenational Airport (SJC)

SJC is the closest major airport to the venue and most major airlines fly here. Since it is the smaller airport, there are less flights than SFO and sometimes can be more expensive (other times less). That being said, we would still recommend flying in here since it is a bit closer (about 1/2 the travel time to the venue & Santa Cruz). Unless you are making a trip out of it want to spend time exploring San Francisco, the Peninsula, or North Bay (wine country), then SFO is your gal!

Flight

San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

SFO is a bit further away, closer to 1.5 hrs away (unless you're lucky), but almost all airlines fly here so may be the easiest to find flights into for folks coming from small town airports. If you do have plans to visit SF during the trip, this could be the easier option but otherwise, since it is closer, we recommend SJC for most guests.
