Here is a breakdown of suggested travel for the week leading up to the wedding. We started the week on Monday, but leaving Saturday the 25th or Sunday the 26th works too! We would suggest flying into Glasgow or Edinburgh and exploring the city you fly into for a few days. Then making the journey to the Isle of Skye. To get to the Isle of Skye you will need to take the train from the city you fly into to Inverness (Loch Ness), from Inverness you will take the train to Kyle of Lochalsh, and then take a taxi from there. If you choose to take both trains in the same day, it will be a full day of travel. Remember that as you book your travel back to the states!

Day 4- Travel to the Isle of Skye

12:00 am

Isle of Skye
Scotland, United Kingdom

You will need to take two trains to the Isle of Skye, where the ceremony is. You will need to take the first train to Inverness, from Inverness, you will need to take the train to Kyle of Lochalsh. *When buying train tickets buy the round trip ticket (even if you don't know when you plan to return). It is easy to change the return trip if needed and it's a much better deal to buy the round trip ticket. Once you get off the train at Kyle of Lochalsh, you will need to take a taxi over the bridge to the Isle of Skye, or where ever your accommodations are!
