Question

What time does the wedding ceremony start?

Answer

The wedding ceremony begins at 4pm. Please arrive between 3:30pm and 3:45pm. The prelude will start at 3:50pm and the church doors will be closed. If you arrive after 3:50pm, you will not be let into the church until the processional is over. Our ushers will sit you as close to the front of the church as possible. This is because our photographer is only allowed as close as behind the last seated guest.

What can I expect for travel for the wedding?

Answer

If you are flying distance from Indianapolis, the closest airport will be Indianapolis Airport (IND). The airport is approximately 20 minutes from downtown Indianapolis. If you are driving into town or renting a car, please note that there is likely an associated fee to park a car at our various hotel block options. There will be parking available at the reception should any guests chose to drive. There will not be parking available at our ceremony location. Guests will need to utilize limited street and garage parking. We have strategically chosen hotels that are walking distance from our ceremony. There will be complementary bus transportation provided from Saint John the Evangelist to The Conservatory at Evergreen and back downtown after the conclusion of the event. The Conservatory is about a 20 minute drive from downtown.

What is the expected attire?

Answer

We are asking our guests to please come in formal attire. Both the ceremony and reception are indoors and climate controlled. There will be an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour on a large covered patio. Please keep this in mind and account for the late June weather.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We have thoughtfully chosen each guest. We kindly request that only those guests who were addressed on the wedding invitation attend our event. Please note that each plus one was invited by name so if any changes occur the invite is exclusively for the written guests. Children we're also invited by name and included in your RSVP. We love all of your little ones, but due to capacity limitations we have chosen to only include the children in our wedding party.
