Karen was then fortunate to start in her dream job as a Labor & Delivery nurse at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital. After almost 3 years of working there and driving back and forth from Bakersfield to Bay Point she decided it was time to move back home. I met Loc in middle school and she is one of my best friends. We've grown up with each other sharing food through middle and high school, random trips through the years, cut our hair short together, shared heartaches with one another and of course shared many happy moments and laughs with one another.

Stephanie was my first friend when I moved to the US back in 2nd grade. She's one of my best friends. We've literally seen each other grow, shared so many special moments together through all the years, and so much laughter. Although there were times were we didn't see each other for a while, we always pick up right where we left off from like no time has passed.

Shayne is one of my older cousins who I've had the pleasure of growing up with in the same home when we were younger. She's always been my older sister that I've never had from helping me with my hair and makeup for all the special events. I was also fortunate enough to be a part of her delivery to meet my niece Isa who is just the sweetest and cutest little girl.

Alexie is another one of my cousins who I would consider my little sister that I never had. I remember when she was a bald headed baby, but time has flown and she is now a beautiful grown lady and she's just grown up right before my eyes.

Kristine is one of Jeff's sisters. We grew up next door to each other and played together countless times growing up. I am so fortunate to have a future sister in law who I get along with and I've known for a long time, and brings me Boba!

Joanna is another one of Jeff's sisters who I've known since she was born. She is really close to my cousin Alexie and there's so much memories of them playing together when we were younger. I'm so fortunate to have her as my future sister in law and she makes delicious food whenever she's home for the weekend from school.

Raquel was my partner in crime all through nursing school and my whole time living in Bakersfield. We've enjoyed countless hours with one another studying, stressing out about school, and of course laughs along the way. She made my time in Bakersfield more bearable and made the best shopping buddy and eating buddy around. At one point we even went to get matching ear piercings together!

I met Kristin when I started working at John Muir. It's funny because we know so many of the same people but never met each other until we started working together. She made the transition to being new at work so much better and we'd vent to one another about everything going on. She is my work BFF and I know I can count on her whenever we work together. For the longest time, everyone used to always get us confused with one another.
